I just completed my first official In The Company of Guides Denali trip. This custom private was done with three guides and two clients. We choose this ratio in order to make this trip as easy as possible for the two climbers. Each day I travelled with Ken and Carlos at a normal pace, while Alex and Dusty (my two assistants) hurried ahead so camp was set up and water on the stove when we rolled in.
Spending time in the mountains is almost always a rewarding experience. In the mountains I challenge myself, I experience Pain, Joy, boredom, and fear. I've laughed, and wanted to cry. I've seen incredible beauty and inspiring sites. Without exception each trip to the mountains teaches me something of value.

In The Company of Guides
Hi Folks,
As you can see, I haven't posted here for quite some time. That is because I have been busy building another website. The new website is called In The Company of Guides and is a virtual billboard showcasing all of the trips we currently offer. Please check it out and contact me with your comments, trip ideas or better yet to sign up for your next mountain adventure.
